Job Title: Solar Project Development Manager

Position Overview: They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Project Development Manager to lead the team in Munich. In this role, you will lead the development of large-scale solar projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful project execution and contributing to our growth in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of solar PV projects, including site identification, feasibility studies, permitting, and grid connection.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to facilitate project progress and resolve any issues.
  • Conduct due diligence, risk assessments, and financial modeling to support project investment decisions.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, contractors, and other project partners.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, environmental science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in solar project development, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of the solar energy industry, including market trends, regulatory frameworks, and technological advancements.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
